RACK HIRE
TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKINGS & PAYMENT

Full payment is required when your rack booking is made. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully completed.

Rack hire is available for the booking period, rack size and dates shown in your confirmation. Booking a rack constitutes acceptance of these Rack Hire Terms & Conditions.

CANCELLATIONS

Rack hire bookings are subject to a 7-day cancellation policy. If you need to cancel, please contact Vintage Revolution as soon as possible.

Once your rack hire period has commenced, unused days are not refundable simply because you decide not to use the rack for the remainder of the booking.

YOUR RACK CAPACITY

Your rack must remain within the capacity of the rack size you booked and can be any combination of clothes, shoes and bags.

You may refill or top up your rack during Vintage Revolution opening hours provided you remain within your booked rack capacity.

ITEM CONDITION & PREPARATION

Items brought in for rack hire must be clean, presentable, appropriately prepared and ready for sale.

Vintage Revolution may set aside items that are unsuitable for sale, poorly presented, prohibited, damaged beyond an acceptable standard or otherwise inconsistent with our store requirements.

A pressing service is available for A$5 per item.

WHAT YOU MAY SELL

Vintage Revolution will accept suitable women's, men's, children's and baby clothing, shoes and bags, and on consignment luxury shoes, bags, sunglasses and watches.

We focus on quality mid-range, premium and luxury pieces that are suitable for resale.

DROP-OFF

Items should be dropped off in accordance with the instructions provided for your booking.

For bookings commencing on Vintage Revolution's opening day, Sunday 1 November 2026, opening drop-off is available on Saturday 31 October 2026 between 9am and 12pm.

For other bookings, items are brought in on the first day of the booked period between 9am and 11am unless Vintage Revolution advises otherwise.

CHRISTMAS CLOSURE

Vintage Revolution is closed from 25 December to 31 December.

Where a rack booking crosses this closure period, the booking will be extended by 7 days at no additional rack hire charge.

SALES & NO GUARANTEE

Rack hire gives you space within Vintage Revolution to offer your items for sale. It does not guarantee that any particular item, or any item at all, will sell.

Results may vary depending on factors including the items offered, condition, presentation, pricing and customer demand.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITEMS

Whilst we take every care with renter and consignee items, sellers and consignees remain responsible for their items as set out in these terms and any other applicable Vintage Revolution policies. All items brought into Vintage Revolution to be sold, is at the rack renter’s or consignee's risk. Please do not bring any item into the store that you deem too valuable or do not want to risk getting damaged/losing.

Please do not leave valuables, personal belongings or anything unrelated to your booked rack instore.

FINAL DAY & COLLECTION

Any remaining items must be collected by the final day of your rack booking unless another arrangement has been agreed with Vintage Revolution.

A late collection fee of A$20 may be deducted from seller profits where items are not collected on time.

Items remaining uncollected for 7 days or more after the booking ends may be donated.

PAYOUTS

Vintage Revolution aims to process seller payouts within 5 working days after the payout becomes due.

Payouts are made electronically. Cash payouts are not available.

You are responsible for providing accurate payment or bank details. Vintage Revolution is not responsible for payments sent using incorrect details supplied by you.

LUXURY & AUTHENTICATION

Counterfeit, replica and unauthorised imitation items cannot be sold through Vintage Revolution.

Where authentication is required, Vintage Revolution's authentication service is A$45 per submitted item regardless of the result.

An authentication certificate is issued only where the item is determined to be authentic.

YOUR CONTACT DETAILS

You must provide accurate contact details when booking, including your name, email address and mobile number.

Booking confirmations and rack booking communications are currently sent by email, so please make sure the email address supplied is correct and accessible.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
