HOW CONSIGNMENT WORKS

You bring us suitable luxury pieces. We review them, authenticate where required, prepare them for sale and manage the selling process from start to finish.

BRING US YOUR PIECES

Bring selected luxury clothing, bags, shoes, watches and accessories into Vintage Revolution for consideration.

WE REVIEW THEM

We assess condition, presentation, desirability and whether each piece is suitable for our luxury consignment collection.

AUTHENTICATE & PREPARE

Where authentication is required, pieces are checked before being prepared and presented for sale.

WE MANAGE THE SALE

Once accepted, we manage the in-store selling process and arrange your payout when your piece sells.

Selected luxury clothing in excellent condition, ready to be presented and sold in store.

Suitable designer bags, sunglasses, watches and selected accessories will be considered.

Designer footwear may be accepted where condition, presentation and resale suitability meet our standards.

AUTHENTICATION A$45 PER ITEM

The authentication fee applies regardless of the result. A certificate is provided only where an item is confirmed as authentic.

Every piece is considered individually.

We look at authenticity, condition, presentation, desirability and resale suitability before deciding whether a piece is right for the Vintage Revolution luxury collection.

Pieces that do not meet our standards may be declined, even where the brand itself would normally be suitable.

COUNTERFEIT OR REPLICA ITEMS CANNOT BE OFFERED FOR SALE.

Once a consigned piece sells, we handle the transaction and arrange your payout electronically.

Vintage Revolution manages the customer transaction and records the sale.

YOUR PAYOUT IS PROCESSED

We aim to process payouts within 5 working days after the payout becomes due.

PAID ELECTRONICALLY

Payouts are made electronically. Cash payouts are not available, so your bank details must be correct.

Vintage Revolution cannot guarantee that an individual piece will sell.

A few things to know before bringing your pieces in.

What can I bring in for consideration? +
We consider selected luxury clothing, shoes, bags, sunglasses, watches and accessories. Acceptance depends on the individual piece and its condition, presentation, authenticity and resale suitability.
Does bringing an item in guarantee acceptance? +
No. Every piece is reviewed individually and Vintage Revolution may decline items that do not meet our condition, presentation or resale standards.
Do luxury items need authentication? +
Items requiring authentication must be assessed before they can be offered for sale through Vintage Revolution.
How much is authentication? +
Authentication is A$45 per submitted item. The fee still applies regardless of the authentication result.
Do I receive a certificate? +
A certificate is provided where an item is confirmed as authentic.
What happens if an item is counterfeit? +
Counterfeit or replica items cannot be offered for sale through Vintage Revolution. The authentication fee still applies where an item has been submitted for assessment.
How am I paid when something sells? +
Seller payouts are made electronically. Vintage Revolution aims to process payouts within 5 working days after they become due. Cash payouts are not available.
Is there a guarantee my piece will sell? +
No. Acceptance for consignment does not guarantee that an individual piece will sell.
